Clarksville,TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) Governor’s Guard ROTC cadets continue to show why they’re among the best in the nation.
Their latest achievement – finishing runner-up in the 7th Brigade ROTC Bold Warrior Challenge November 2nd-4th, 2018 at Fort Knox, Kentucky – strengthens the battalion’s claim to an eighth General Douglas MacArthur Award, which goes to the eight top-performing ROTC units in U.S. Army Cadet Command.
Austin Peay State University alum George Mabry to be inducted into inaugural class of ROTC Hall of Fame

Clarksville, TN – U.S. Army ROTC cadets selected for the inaugural class of the Army ROTC Hall of Fame. More than 300 former cadets will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during a ceremony at Fort Knox, Kentucky on June 10th that will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Army ROTC program.
A 2000 graduate of Northeast High School (NEHS) in Clarksville, Gregory C. Mabry Jr. earned his Bachelor of Science in sociology from APSU in 2004.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation to show the classic sports film “Rudy” at Movies in the Park this Saturday

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, June 15th, come out to the Heritage Park soccer fields and join Clarksville Parks and Recreation for this month’s Movies in the Park event, featuring the sports classic, “Rudy,” which is rated PG.
Rudy was always told he was too small to play college football. However, he is determined to beat the odds and fulfill his dream of playing for Notre Dame.
