Clarksville, TN – The wait is nearly over! “Cry-Baby: The Musical”, based on the John Waters cult classic film, opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre this Friday, June 3rd at 8:00pm.
In keeping with our pay-what-you-can opening night tradition, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 7:30pm Friday for a $5.00 minimum donation.

Clarksville, TN – Brian Vernon, chair of the Austin Peay State University Department of Theatre and Dance, looked a bit tired the other day as he sat in his office.
“We’ve got five nuns learning a tap routine right now,” he said, suppressing a yawn.
The nuns in question are actually APSU students preparing for the department’s upcoming performance of the wildly popular musical comedy, “Nunsense.”

Hanks, the winner of MTV’s “The Search for Elle Woods” and star of Broadway’s Legally Blonde, takes on the Dolly Parton role in this hilarious musical comedy based on the film also starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. “Spring Awakening” at the Roxy Regional Theatre

Clarksville, TN – John McDonald and Tom Thayer have brought together the perfect cast for their production of “Spring Awakening”. The result is a powerful, passionate performance that draws the audience in and sends them on an emotional journey with the characters they are portraying.
“Spring Awakening” is set in a 19th century German village that is socially and sexually repressed. The musical follows a group of teenagers through their own self discoveries as they become young adults.
Matt DuMont (as Melchior), Hannah Church (as Wendla) and Gregory Pember* (as Moritz) put on a strong, emotional performance that really lets the audiance feel what their characters are going through.
The rest of the cast, Melanie Beck, Josh Bernaski, Ryan Bowie, Regan Featherstone, Humberto Figueroa, Leslie Greene, Erin Keas, Ashley Laverty, John McDonald, Hollie Morse, Sean Ormond, Rob Rodems, Cassie Thompson and Kendall Anne Thompson are equally impressive.
