Clarksville, TN – Hundreds of runners were presented with rare perfect conditions for running this past Saturday, just in time for Clarksville’s annual Queen City Road Race, a 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run that traverses the streets of Downtown Clarksville.

Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett, Chief of Staff Jeff Truitt, City of Clarksville Chief of Administration Charlie Gentry and Chamber President Melinda Shepard congratulated and thanked the company for their efforts at their green ribbon cutting.

Montgomery County, TN – A seventh group of participants completed the Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification Program (CMCGCP) workshops this month.
The group began the process in October 2012 with plans to complete their certifications by April 2013.
Cans for Canines and Cats, too!

Clarksville, TN – Do you have aluminum cans? The Humane Society of Clarksville – Montgomery County has a fundraising program, Cans for Canines and Cats, too!, in partnership with Heimansohn Industrial Park.
You can participate by taking your recyclable cans and other metals to: the designated dumpster behind Mann, Smith & Cummings Insurance at 1997 Madison Street, or Heimansohn at the corner of Ashland City road and Gatlin road.
Be sure to have payments placed in the Humane Society account.
