Acclaimed Photographer Raeanne Rubenstein Brings New Subject to the Customs House Museum

Clarksville, TN – Photographer Raeanne Rubenstein, known for her iconic images of Andy Warhol, is debuting a new series of work at the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center this month. “Sky Portraits” opens on September 9th in the museum’s Orgain Gallery.

Clarksville, TN – The Customs House is exhibiting a suite of Andy Warhol portraits by renowned photographer Raeanne Rubenstein. Rubenstein’s exhibit, The Fascinating Mr. Warhol, is on display through May 4th.
The artist will be speaking about her experiences and her friendship with Mr. Warhol in a gallery talk on Tuesday, April 8th. The event, which begins at 7:00pm, is free to the public.

Clarksville, TN – In 2005, Los Angeles Times columnist Steve Lopez strikes an unlikely friendship with Nathaniel Ayers, a homeless musician with schizophrenia who slept each night on one of skid row’s most dangerous streets.
Lopez learned Ayers had been a promising violinist, and that he had left the prestigious music program at the Juilliard School because of his struggle with mental illness.
