This year’s students span rising sophomores to seniors and represent all four concentrations offered through the department.

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!” to close out Season 35 at the Roxy Regional Theatre, July 27th – August 18th

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – The Roxy Regional Theatre is heading west “where the wind comes sweepin’ down the plain” to close out Season 35 of live professional theatre on the corner of Franklin and First.

Legends Bank presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s masterpiece “Oklahoma!” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, beginning Friday, July 27th, at 8:00pm. In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular ticket price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.

A celebration of the golden era of movie musicals, “Dames At Sea” opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, June 22nd, at 8:00pm. Austin Peay State University gives Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” a comic book makeover

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – In the late 1940s, shortly after World War II, American comic books took on the daring subject of love. Jack Kirby, co-creator of Captain America, helped popularize these soap opera-like tales with his comic “Young Romance.”

The brightly colored covers—which would later inspire Roy Lichtenstein’s pop art creations—featured couples embracing or kissing, often with someone crying in the background.
