Pisgah Elementary School holds “Pisgah Loves Pets” food drive

Montgomery County, TN – Clarksville-Montgomery County School System says Pisgah Elementary School has one big lesson for us all – spread love and kindness!
According to organizer Leanna Sleigh, from February 6th to February 16th, 2018 students, parents, faculty, and staff collected food for animal shelters during their Pisgah Loves Pets food drive.
Events to honor Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy ‘Bubba’ Johnson a hugh success

Montgomery County, TN – Hundreds came out to support two events today in memory of fallen Deputy David “Bubba” Johnson.
A light mist had begun falling shortly after 8:00am when Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson spoke to the crowd of hundreds of runners waiting to begin the Inaugural Bubba Johnson Memorial 5K Road Race.
“I think Bubba is watching over us today,” Fuson said. “It’s the perfect weather for a run.”
Clarksville Police Department K-9 Graduate

Clarksville, TN – On Friday, November 15th, 2013, Officer Keith Jones and his K-9 partner, Koda, graduated from the Southern Police Canine Inc. training in Nashville, NC.
Officer Jones, the handler, was trained to be well-versed in canine safety and health care, and legal updates and considerations. Handler training was subjected to numerous survival techniques.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has Four Graduate from Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy

Montgomery County, TN – Four new deputies will soon be patrolling the streets of Montgomery County after graduating from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in Nashville, Tennessee.
The graduates were Deputies Eric Trout, Patrick Turner, Christopher Owens and Robert Parker.
Teen Citizen Police Academy Applications Being Accepted

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department will be hosting The Teen Citizen Police Academy, July 18th through July 22nd, 2011. The course is free and the curriculum includes crime scene investigation, narcotics investigation, K-9 unit, and much more.
The Teen Citizen Police Academy is for teens between the ages of 13-17. The times are 8:00am for Monday and 9:00am Tuesday through Friday, with pick up times no later than 2:45pm each day. The purpose of this academy is to create a better understanding between citizens and police through education. [Read more]
