Infinity Dance Fitness Academy conducts First Annual Dance Camp

Clarksville, TN – The Infinity Dance Fitness Academy (IDFA) conducted its first one-week dance camp July 27th-31st, 2015 at the Emmanuel Family Life Center. The IDFA Dance Camp was fun and exciting for the campers while creating a positive and empowering environment which allowed the campers to explore the art of dance i.
The 1st Annual IDFA Dance Camp had thirty campers ages 5-17. The campers received instruction in several disciplines of dance to include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, belly dance and liturgical. Campers also participated in daily group sessions which focused on life skills and issues that our youth face in school and with their peers to include Gang Violence; Bullying; Drug, Alcohol and Tobacco prevention; Nutrition and Obesity; and Goal setting.
Rivers and Spires Festival kicks off with high spirits

Clarksville, TN – The first day of the 2013 Rivers and Spires Festival opened with spring rains threatening, which prompted festival organizers to move up the start of the festivities. This allowed the evening to conclude before the weather struck.
The early start didn’t dampen the spirits of the crowd drawn to downtown to enjoy the top notch musical entertainment. Cowboy Mouth was certainly the most popular performer as the crowd was drawn in droves to the edge of the Public Square Stage.
Rivers and Spires 2012 Festival opens with some amazing weather

Clarksville, TN – The 2012 Rivers and Spires festival opened with some amazing weather, clear and not too hot. Crowds of people descended on Historic Downtown Clarksville to enjoy the first day of the free three day annual festival.
The Roxy Regional Theatre opened up the musical entertainment with a musical review of current and upcoming productions including School House Rock and Spring Awakening which are both currently playing, and The Wedding Singer and Happy Days from their upcoming season.
The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce held their Business After Hours Event in the Parking lot of U.S. Bank at the Clarksville City Hall. Chamber members enjoyed refreshments provided by Hooters, and played a variety of games with Hooters Girls including a Cornhole Tournament, Putting, and Dancing.
Riverside Drive Two Mile Yard Sale Starts Tomorrow

Clarksville, TN – There will be a Two Mile Yard Sale held along Riverside Drive June 17th and 18th starting at 7:00am and running into the early afternoon. It will be the first occurrence with hopefully many more to come. Most local businesses will be setting up sale areas at their businesses.
The sales area starts at the Hooters/Taco Bell area and ends at Dairy Queen.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come out to these sales and support the businesses that were affected by the Great Flood of 2010.
Wild Woody’s Saloon Opens in the Two Rivers Center

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s new hot spot opened it’s doors on Friday night inside the Two Rivers Center. As many business owners are bouncing back from the Great Flood of 2010, others are taking advantage of space that has come available.
Wild Woody’s is located at 700 North Riverside Drive Suite C-7. Just a few doors down from Hooters. The doors officially opened at 8:00pm Friday night and for awhile it was standing room only. [Read more]

From 5:00pm to 6:30pm, Thursday, September 2nd, Clarksville Young Professionals will be holding a Meet and Greet at the newly reopened Hooters at 750 N. Riverside Drive. It will be a great opportunity to meet the new Chairman and learn about other networking events planned for the next year. On Monday, August 2nd, Hooters in Clarksville Tennessee held their grand re-opening after the Great Flood of 2010. The restaurant was rebuilt and remodeled.
