Infinity Dance Fitness Academy conducts First Annual Dance Camp

Clarksville, TN – The Infinity Dance Fitness Academy (IDFA) conducted its first one-week dance camp July 27th-31st, 2015 at the Emmanuel Family Life Center. The IDFA Dance Camp was fun and exciting for the campers while creating a positive and empowering environment which allowed the campers to explore the art of dance i.
The 1st Annual IDFA Dance Camp had thirty campers ages 5-17. The campers received instruction in several disciplines of dance to include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, belly dance and liturgical. Campers also participated in daily group sessions which focused on life skills and issues that our youth face in school and with their peers to include Gang Violence; Bullying; Drug, Alcohol and Tobacco prevention; Nutrition and Obesity; and Goal setting.
APSU’s Watauga Arts Academy looking for high school students interested in the arts

Clarksville, TN – The Watauga Arts Academy, hosted by Austin Peay State University, is a summer program offering high school students the opportunity to participate in a collaborative and creative “think tank” for visual arts, music, dance and theatre.
Watauga is a two-week residential arts camp for students in grades 9-12, with this year’s camp taking place June 14th-27th.

Stompfest For Christ

Clarksville, TN – Remnant of Faith is hosting their 10th annual Stomp-fest for Christ! Stomp Fest weekend is June 17th and 18th. Friday June 17th is “Holy Hip Hop Night. Several artists from Nashville, Clarksville, and Hopkinsville will perform some of their popular contemporary Gospel songs. J-Rad, an upcoming signed artist, will be featured.
Other artists include Polo, Divine Purpose, John Keith, G’Man, Toney Dabney, Demontrey Ewing, Donte Mishawn, Anthony Whitlock, Antonio French, and Little G. Treva Gordon will be performing her single “Devil U’s a Lie!” These are some talented singers and lyricists and some of the songs are rising up the Gospel charts. [Read more]
Ivan’s Cultural Ensenble to hold dance auditions

Ivan’s Cultural Ensemble (ICE) to hold open auditions for dancers, all forms of dance are welcome. Selected dancers will have the chance to perform professionally, cross country travel, and will be provided an intensive education in the different arts of dancing. The Auditions are open to all forms of dance and the performing arts including Classical, Jazz, African, Hip Hop, Ballet, Gospel Praise, Salsa, Merengue, Samba and More!
