The seminar will be held from 10:30am-11:30am on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 in the Morgan University Center, room 305, on the APSU campus.

Clarksville, TN – As a young man, Dr. Gregg Steinberg came within five heartbreaking inches of qualifying for the U.S. Amateur Golf Tournament at Pebble Beach.
Had he hit the 10-foot putt on the 18th green just a little harder, capping one of the best rounds of golf in his life, he might have gone on to become one of the legends of the sport.

Clarksville, TN – Dr. Gregg Steinberg is offering a seminar titled, “Writing a Book Proposal That Sells.” The seminar will be held from 3:00pm-4:00pm Thursday, February 26th in the Morgan University Center, room 303, on the campus of Austin Peay State University. The seminar is free and open to the public.
Steinberg will show participants how to devise a proposal for an agent or publisher and cover the key components of a book proposal. [Read more]

Dr. Victoria McCarthy and Dr. Robyn Hulsart, both associate professors of professional studies, won best conference paper at the May 2012 conference of The Academic Forum. The title of their paper was “A Crisis Management Plan for Ethical Misconduct and Financial Fraud.” [Read more]

Dr. Mike Gotcher, chair of the APSU Department of Communication, Dr. Anna Filippo, assistant professor of communication, Tracy Nichols, communication instructor, and Dr. Melony Shemberger, assistant director of communication in the APSU Public Relations Office, judged various individual events and debate rounds at the Northeast High School Speech and Debate Tournament held February 4th at the school in Clarksville. Clarksville, TN – Dr. Gregg Steinberg, professor of health and human performance at Austin Peay State University, will conduct a free seminar on writing a book proposal that sells.
The seminar will be from 4:00pm-5:00pm, Wednesday, October 26th in the Morgan University Center, Room 306. The event is open to the public.
Steinberg has sold three books to major publishing houses. He is the author of “Full Throttle: 122 Strategies to Supercharge Your Performance at Work,” “Mental Rules for Golf” and “Flying Lessons.”

Clarksville, TN – Several faculty and staff employees at Austin Peay State University recently presented at conferences, had articles published or represented the University in some way.
Dr. Kristofer Ray, assistant professor of history, spoke at the Civil War Sesquicentennial Program of the Metropolitan Historical Commission on April 9th in Nashville. He explained how the leaders in both the North and South reinterpreted the precepts of America’s founding fathers to suit their own political, social and economic purposes. Ray also is editor of the Tennessee Historical Quarterly. [Read more]
