Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc.Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, September 7th, there will be a multi-employer job fair held at the Clarksville-Montgomery Public Library from 10:00am until 2:00pm.

The Library is partnering with Goodwill Career Solutions for a multi-employer job fair. There will be over 20 employers with 700+ openings. Bring your resume, photo ID and Social Security Card or birth certificate. Please dress for success and be ready to interview.

Student Job Fair in Clarksville a Huge Success

Tennessee State Representative - District 67Clarksville, TN – The Student Job Fair hosted by Tennessee State Representative Joe Pitts was a huge success. Over 400 students attended the Job Fair, Thursday, May 2nd and were successful in applying for summer jobs as well as discussing their future education plans with four institutions of higher learning.

“Great thanks to all the employers that attended as well as APSU, Nashville State Community College (Clarksville Campus), Tennessee Technology Center (Clarksville Campus) and Daymar Institute,” said State Representative Joe Pitts (D-Clarksville). “This event would not have been successful without the hard work of Melinda Williams and Wayne Simpson of the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.”

Clarksville and Montgomery County companies are looking for Employees

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, IncClarksville, TN – The job market may be sluggish in some areas, but many employers in Clarksville and Montgomery County are adding to their employee base. To help connect businesses with qualified job candidates, Goodwill’s Career Solutions Center in Clarksville will host a job fair on Wednesday, June 15th from 9:00am until noon.

The center is located at 1592 Fort Campbell Boulevard, next to Goodwill’s retail store. State Senator Tim Barnes is expected to drop by the event at 8:00am and County Mayor Carolyn Bowers plans to meet with employers and job candidates mid morning. [Read more]
