ALDI Brings Fresh Shopping Experience to Clarksville

ALDIClarksville, TN – After 16 years serving the community, ALDI will open a new Clarksville location, offering a smarter, faster and easier grocery shopping experience. The new store will be located at 1570 Fort Campbell Boulevard, and will replace the current store located at 1626 Fort Campbell Boulevard, which will close its doors on Sunday, March 10th.

To celebrate the new store opening, ALDI will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 14th at 8:45am, followed by its popular Golden Ticket giveaway offering gift cards to the first 100 customers. Shoppers can also sample ALDI-exclusive brand foods and enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation provides safe Halloween Fun with Fright on Franklin

Fright on FranklinClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreations’ Fright on Franklin continues to be one of Clarksville’s favorite events. Scores of local businesses and organizations participated this year, in what has become a Halloween tradition that receives rave reviews from all around, vendors, parents, and especially young trick-or-treaters.

“This was our tenth year and it was a huge success,” Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Rob Rayburn said. “We would estimate that there were about 6,000 people who came downtown between 3:00pm and 6:00pm on Saturday.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation has partnered with Altra Federal Credit Union for this year’s Fright on Franklin event from 3:00pm-6:00pm Saturday, October 28th, 2017 in downtown Clarksville.

Fright on Franklin is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, a hayride, costume contests, and more in historic downtown Clarksville. Follow the screams (of delight) to an afternoon of frighteningly fun Halloween-themed activities.

Benefit for Tammy Mickle to be held Saturday, June 4th

BenefitClarksville, TN – On Saturday, June 4th, there will be a fundraiser for Tammy Mickle at the old Cumberland Heights Gym. There will be music, a food cake walk, silent auction, bounce house, face painting, vendors and more.

You can also buy BBQ plate tickets for $10.00.

Tammy Mickle is the wife of James Mickle a County employee. She has NASH-Non-alcholic Steatohepatitis, where the liver is inflamed and damaged caused by a build up of fat in the liver.

Governors Square MallClarksville, TN – Scotto Pizza is hosting a Holiday Pizza Party with Santa on Saturday, December 21st at 11:00am in the Food Court. Santa will be visiting with guests from 11:00am–11:30am.

The pizza party includes two meal options and each child will receive a Captain McFinn holiday coloring book. Tickets ($5.00) are available at the Customer Service Center by Dillard’s.

The Fashion Advisory Board is made up of high school students who have a passion for fashion, retail and marketing. The program is open to any current high school students with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Countdown is on for the opening of the Indoor Aquatic Center

Beginning mid December, New Providence Pool, located at Cunningham Lane, will get a new look- it will be sheltered with a bubble like dome to allow for year-round use.

The Indoor Aquatic Center will officially open to the public, January 3rd, 2011, with a grand opening celebration taking place, Saturday, January 8th, 2011 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
