APSU students’ documentary selected for Nashville Film Festival

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – A guitar thrums at the start of “Listen Hear” – an Austin Peay State University (APSU) student-produced documentary that explores the Clarksville music scene. Iconic Clarksville images – a downtown mural, a Strawberry Alley street sign, a theater marquee – flash across the screen.

Riverfest provides something for Everyone

RiverFest 2019Clarksville, TN – By all accounts, this year’s Riverfest was a big success. The weather was perfect, attendance was strong, and the entertainment was top-notch.

Three days of activities began Thursday evening with the annual Riverfest Art Show at Wilma Rudolph Event Center. Kara Zahn and her team did a great job this year, bringing in a full house to view dozens of entries in multiple categories and age divisions.

Montgomery Gentry closed Riverfest 2019 in style, with a big crowd lining the hillside in front of the Miller Lite stage to watch an impressive Saturday night performance.
