Volunteer coaches will work with children to improve individual skills in dribbling, passing, and shooting, while instilling values in teamwork and sportsmanship.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The new 2018 Fall/Winter Clarksville Parks and Recreation Activity Guide is now available, offering details about scores of programs and events, a detailed map showing all 47 of the department’s parks, trails and facilities, and information about rentals for private functions.

The guide also offers information about 15 new events and programs from September to December in the City’s parks, recreation centers and indoor pool and includes information about current and upcoming park projects and improvements.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation to take part in Summer Food Service Program

Meals to be served at Summer Youth Program sites

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is participating in the Summer Food Service Program throughout the duration of the City’s Summer Youth Program.

At 14 of the 15 program sites (all sites excluding Crow Recreation Center) meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service (not all prohibited bases apply to all programs).
