Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race
Clarksville, TN – The 5th Annual “Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race” is being held on the night of August 11th, 2018 at Beachaven Winery on Dunlop Lane in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The 1 Mile Fun Run will start at 8:00pm and the 5K will start at 8:30pm.
The Silent Auction is back again this year. We will many items to bid on!
Clarksville Parks and Recreation launches “Bike Walk Clarksville”

Clarksville, TN – Bike Walk Clarksville, a group of citizens on a mission to promote a more bicycle and pedestrian-friendly community, got rolling this week with a formative meeting at Wilma Rudolph Events Center.
The next meeting is scheduled for 6:00pm Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 at a site to be announced soon. Organizers have set up online sites to inform and connect members.

3rd Annual Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial 5K Road Race brings Community Together

Clarksville, TN – The 3rd Annual Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial 5K Road Race took place Saturday night, August 13th, 2016 at Beachaven Winery. The 1 Mile Fun Run started at 8:30pm and the 5k began at 9:00pm.
A slight rain moved into the area but tapered off by the start of the race. 322 people preregistered for the event and by race time, there were 358 runners/walkers participating.
“This event has grown really good over the last three years. It’s going to be an exciting night,” said Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson. “These are good times.”
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County and Sango United Methodist Church Prepare for 2014 Sango Scamper Road Race

Clarksville, TN – Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County Tennessee accepted a donation from Pastor Willie Lyle of the Sango United Methodist Church (UMC) this week from the proceeds of the 2013 Sango Scamper Road Race.
Habitat for Humanity has been the beneficiary of this Sango UMC event for over 20 years.
9th Annual Wilma Rudolph 5k and 10k Road Race to be held June 21st, 2014

Clarksville, TN – The Wilma Rudolph 5K-10K Road Race is being held Saturday, June 21st, 2014 Clarksville, TN and is presented by the Clarksville Running Club. The race will be held at Sango United Methodist Church.
The 9th Annual Wilma Rudolph 5k and 10k Road Race is a course that is on rolling hills and meanders through the streets and neighborhoods of the Sango community in Clarksville Tennessee. [Read more]
Go Commando Donates Over $50,000 To Charitable Organizations

Clarksville, TN – The Go Commando Half Marathon & 5k, powered by CDE Lightband, announced Tuesday they would donate over $50,000 to local non-profits and community organizations.
The largest recipients, the Clarksville Area YMCA and the Fort Campbell Historical Foundation, were both on hand to accept donations of $15,000 each. Christy Batts, Broadband Division Manager for the Clarksville Department of Electricity, was also in attendance to present the checks to the recipients.
Go Commando Runner Provides Awareness to Gun Violence

Clarksville, TN – Every day, law enforcement across the United States step out onto the streets in an effort to protect and serve. Their dedication extends across the communities they patrol and within their own community of officers.
This year, on October 19th, one of Montgomery County’s own will run in the Go Commando Half Marathon & 5k powered by CDE Lightband in honor of his fellow officers and to raise awareness about a very real threat to police officers everywhere.
