Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center’s annual Flying High fundraiser takes place Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at the Clarksville Country Club. The theme to this 35th annual event is “Southern Soirée”, inspired by the beauty of Charleston and the low country of South Carolina.

Montgomery County, TN – Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification Program (CMCGCP) held a green ribbon cutting on Tuesday to celebrate Clarksville County Club (CCC) as the newest green organization.
Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett, City of Clarksville Chief of Staff Heather Fleming, Chamber of Commerce Director Melinda Shepard, Bi-County Solid Waste Management Director David Graham, Montgomery County Public Information Officer Michelle Newell and CMCGCP Manager Carlye Sommers attended the celebration.
Blick family honors son’s legacy with new APSU agriculture scholarship

Clarksville, TN – Brock Blick wanted some cows. That’s all the 11-year-old talked about (along with hunting and fishing and golf and baseball), especially after spending the day on his grandfather’s farm. Brock would come home at night and inform his father they needed more land to hold all his cows—he wanted 15.
“I said, ‘Ok, we’ll do that,’” Mark Blick, Brock’s father, said. “‘When you turn 15, we’ll buy some land, and we’ll get you some cows.’ He absolutely loved cows.”

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University Athletics department’s Echo Power Engineering Governors Golf Classic fundraiser, presented by Hand Family Companies and the APSU Governors Club, is set for Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at the Clarksville Country Club and Swan Lake Golf Course.
The annual event serves a fundraiser to support student-athletes through scholarships, facility improvements and academic support. Teams can register for the four-player, best-ball scramble for $400.00, with hole sponsorships (which include both course) available for $500.00.
