Clarksville, TN – Members of the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce were on hand Monday to officially open the new office of Kirk Low, C.P.A. with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The office is located at 2535 Madison Street Suite D in the Blue Stone Center.

Shear Madness Studio Opens

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Chamber of Commerce made it official last week when they cut the ribbon to open a new business called Shear Madness Hair Studio, located at 2150 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.
Owner, Claudia George has been a hair artist since 2007 and opened Claudia’s Hair Salon in 2009. This year she changed the name to Shear Madness when she was joined by two other hair Artists; Annette Catalano-Joplin and Angie Henley.
Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union Grand Opening

Clarksville, TN – The Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union, Dover Crossing Branch, in Clarksville TN had their Grand Opening October 19th, 2010 at 5:00pm. The Clarksville Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the ribbon cutting.
Jerles-Orton Joins Planters Commercial Banking Staff

Clarksville, TN – Planters Bank announces the addition of Amy Jerles-Orton as vice president of commercial and professional banking.
Jerles-Orton comes to Planters from Regions Bank where she worked as a business banker and branch manager.
“Amy is a well-established and active leader in the Clarksville business community,” said CEO Elizabeth McCoy. “We are obviously proud to have her join our excellent team.”
Jerles-Orton currently serves as president of the Clarksville Young Professionals, is on the Chamber of Commerce and YMCA Board of Directors, and is a graduate of Leadership Clarksville. She attended Bethel University.
Jerles-Orton will work from the bank’s Hilldale office, located at 1971 Madison Street.
Headquartered in Hopkinsville, Planters Bank maintains three offices in Hopkinsville and five in Clarksville.

Lunch and Learn with Kathryn Olita

Lunch and Learn Human Resources Series will be held on Tuesday, June 29th from 11:30am to 1:00pm at the Chamber of Commerce. The discussion will be lead by Kathryn Olita of Batson, Nolan, Pearson Miller & Joiner.
Ms. Olita will speak on the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Acts, the final revised amendments to the Family Medical Leave Act, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act and the Employer’s Freedom of Choice Act.
