Clarksville’s Riverfest kicked Saturday off with Regatta Boat Race

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, September 7th, the 2019 Clarksville Riverfest Regatta took place at the McGregor Park Park Boat Ramp at 1:00pm. Fan-favorite cardboard boat race is celebrating it’s 13th year.
The Riverfest Regatta is not your typical boat race. The boats racing down the Cumberland River were made of cardboard or plastic bottles along with a few other approved materials.

“The new website is visually clean and crisp, and makes striking use of colorful, attractive views of the City,” Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts said. “More importantly, it gives us a giant leap forward in technology that will allow citizens to interact with City Government in new and more efficient ways.”
Clarksville Building and Codes to begin accepting Applications for keeping Domesticated Hens November 1st, 2012

Clarksville, TN – On November 1st, 2012, the Clarksville Department of Building and Codes will begin accepting applications for people who want to keep domesticated hens on their property.
The Clarksville City Council, during the September meeting, approved an ordinance allowing for the keeping of domesticated hens in E-1, R-1 AND R-1A zoned areas. [Read more]
Clarksville Police Department’s Operation Defiance Trunk-or-Treat

City receives state approval to perform its own Electrical Inspections
