May 12, 2017
Clarksville, TN – Since its debut in 2011, Theta-Delta has become another avenue for Phi Alpha Theta (PAT), Austin Peay State University’s award-winning history honor society, students to demonstrate their capacity for historical research, authorship and criticism.
Modeled after scholarly magazines such as The Journal of Southern History, Theta-Delta allows APSU students to grow as editors as they mold a year’s worth of classroom research into quality, publishable articles.
When Newspapers Mattered: The News Brothers and their Shades of Glory
September 25, 2013
Clarksville, TN – As my wife and I were preparing for a recent vacation, we started collecting the books we planned to read while on our trip. I usually grab the latest offering by Harlan Coben, Patricia Cornwell, or John Grisham.
She is currently catching up on the “Left Behind” series, but as she was putting our choices in the bag, she reached for my autographed copy of “When Newspapers Mattered: The News Brothers & their Shades of Glory” written by former Leaf-Chronicle “newspapermen” Tim Ghianni and Rob Dollar.
