SpiritFest 2023 to be held Saturday, December 2nd

SpiritfestClarksville, TN – On Saturday, December 2nd, Spiritfest 2023 will be held in downtown Clarksville from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. Come to the corner of Third Street and Main Street for holiday festivities!

At the Downtown Commons (215 Legion Street), there will be live music, Santa Claus, kids’ activities, and food trucks. At 4:30pm, Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden will light the Christmas Tree.

Warm up inside Trinity’s Parish Hall (317 Franklin Street) with cookies and hot chocolate.

Fort Defiance to host 19th Century Christmas

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites you to come out, grab a cup of eggnog and get ready for a 19th Century Christmas.

This outdoor historical event is on Saturday, December 11th, 2021 at Fort Defiance Civil War Park from 2:00pm until 3:30pm.

Visitors will be able to step back in time and create period decorations, visit with a 19th century Santa, decorate a Christmas tree, and enjoy eggnog, cakes, caroling, and more.

City of Clarksville to hold Gold Star Holiday Tree Ceremony

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville is hosting a Gold Star Holiday Tree ceremony to honor the men and women in uniform who have given their lives for our country and the families who carry on their legacies on Sunday, December 5th, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Clarksville City Hall.

To commemorate America’s greatest heroes, the City of Clarksville has decorated a Christmas tree on the first floor of City Hall with Gold Star ornaments from last year’s ceremony bearing the names of some of our fallen heroes.

ChristmasClarksville, TN – It was a beautiful night Saturday for the 58th Annual Clarksville Christmas Parade in Downtown Clarksville. People lined the streets waiting for the start of the parade. Children were excited in anticipation of seeing the floats and Santa Claus.

Austin Peay head football coach Will Healy was the grand marshal. The theme was “Christmas Around the World”.

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – This Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 there will be multiple activities taking place in the Downtown Commons and throughout downtown to celebrate the Christmas Season. SpiritFest begins at the Downtown Commons at 2:00pm, kicking off with Northeast High School Show Choir, Starlight Grande performance, Infinity Dance Fitness Academy, Clarksville Academy, and Rossview Singing Hawks.

At 3:30pm, the Montgomery Central Elementary School Choir will perform followed by greetings from Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett at 3:45pm.

Montgomery County ushers in Christmas with Caroling and Lighting of the County Tree

Montgomery County TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – The Christmas season kicked off Saturday, December 5th on the Montgomery County Court House steps as crowds gathered to listen to Christmas caroling by local students. There was also hot chocolate available inside the Montgomery County Courts Complex.

The caroling started at 4:00pm and continued right up to the start of the Clarksville Montgomery County Annual Lighted Christmas Parade.
