Concert part of ceremony to unveil newly renamed Fortera Stadium
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, April 23rd, Austin Peay State University and Fortera Credit Union celebrate a new era in Governors Football with the unveiling of the newly renamed Fortera Stadium, capped off with a concert by Nashville recording artist Maggie Rose in the stadium lot.
Rose’s performance will conclude a day’s worth of activities, beginning with a noon baseball game, as the Governors take on Eastern Kentucky in Raymond C. Hand Park. At 1:00pm, Governors Softball will compete against Jacksonville State at Cheryl Holt Field.

Clarksville, TN – Looking for a great way to beat the summer heat and brush up on your skills? All summer long, Austin Peay State University coaches will be hosting camps for kids of all ages.
All camps take place on campus and are led by Governors coaches and student-athletes with an occasional guest appearance by some Governors’ greats. Austin Peay camps also are fully staffed and sponsored by Gatorade, offering an unmatched experience and look inside what it’s like to be a college athlete.

APSU Sports: APSU Hall of Fame
Clarksville, TN – Jay Bailey, an All-American running back who owns the school single-season rushing record; Ashley Haynes, the versatile forward who scored 1,000 points and grabbed 1,000 rebounds in her illustrious career, and Cheryl Holt, who led Austin Peay volleyball to 19 straight Ohio Valley Conference tournament appearances, including the 1991 tourney title, will be inducted into the University’s Athletics Hall of Fame, Saturday.
The 9:00am, induction ceremonies in the Dunn Center’s front lobby will see the APSU Athletic Hall of Fame grow to 107. The newest inductees and their families also will be honored during halftime ceremonies of APSU men’s basketball home contest against UT Martin.
