Bikers Who Care annual Toy Run set for Saturday, September 17th

Clarksville, TN – Thousands of toys will be collected by Bikers Who Care (BWC) at this year’s Leslie W. Watson Memorial Toy Run & Benefit Party, a tradition of giving, now in its 41st year.
BWC announced that this year’s Toy Run will return to its pre-pandemic glory with a full weekend of events, September 16th – 18th, accompanying the nationally-known Saturday afternoon ride from Clarksville Speedway to Governor’s Square Mall, during which toys are delivered and collected, and eventually provided to families in need during the Christmas season.

Clarksville, TN – On Monday, August 10th, 2020, Bikers Who Care Director Bill Langford announced that this year’s BWC Toy Run will take place Saturday, September 19th, 2020.
Riders are encouraged to arrive at Liberty Park at 11:00am. They will depart for their scenic journey through Clarksville at 1:00pm and arrive at Appleton Harley-Davidson about 30 minutes later.
Clarksville’s Bikers Who Care hosts 15th annual Bikers Who Scare Haunted House

Clarksville, TN – The good folks from Bikers Who Care are back with their 15th Annual Bikers Who Scare Haunted House.
BWC member Steve Eckart says this year’s scare fest is bigger and better than ever, with lots of new rooms and more live actors.
“We are a 100% volunteer organization, and all the money we raise goes to BWC Children’s Charities,” Eckart said. “We love doing this, and we have hundreds of people go through here each weekend. It just gets bigger every year.”
New APSU scholarship honors victim of carbon monoxide poisoning

Clarksville, TN – At Kenwood High School on Tuesday, 18-year-old Skylar Hughes presented Austin Peay State University President Alisa White with a $25,000 check.
The money, which Skylar helped raise, will fund the Kathryn Watson Over Endowment—a new scholarship, named for Skylar’s former teacher, that will be awarded each year to a Kenwood graduate majoring in education at APSU.
Hilltop Supermarket’s “Karing for Kenai” Spring Festival a huge success

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 9th, Hilltop Supermarket held a Spring Festival event, “Karing for Kenai”. The event was a fundraiser for Kenai Payes Langley who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Kenai is a beautiful 13 year-old-young lady who lives in Clarksville, TN, with her mother and older sister, Hailey. Kenai is battling Stage 3 Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma Cancer. She has 8 tumors in the surrounding areas of her reproductive system.

The Red River Sirens have divided their team a second time this season to form the Betty Bombers and the Suzy Sailors in an intra-league bout on Saturday, November 10th at Magic Wheels, 1671 Fort Campbell Boulevard. This is the end of our 2012 season and we wanted to go out with a bang!

Clarksville, TN – The Bikers Who Care will host their 31st Annual Leslie W. Watson Toy Run and Benefit Party this weekend, September 14th-16th, at the Clarksville Speedway (1600 Needmore Road).
The weekend will include nightly bands, Street Bike Drags, Bike Show, Tatoo Contest, and Bikini Contests. Camping is allowed, and there will be plenty of vendors as well as food and drink.
