APSU alumna establishes Jackson-Hardin Education Endowed Scholarship for APSU students

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) alumna Dr. Carlette Hardin recently made a generous donation to the Austin Peay State University Foundation to establish the Jackson-Hardin Education Endowed Scholarship for APSU students.

The scholarship was created in memory of Hardin’s parents, Carl and Cora Belle Jackson.

APSU’s Eriksson College of Education receives $600K grant for assistant principal program

Austin Peay State University TESOL program prepares students to teach English to speakers of other languages

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – In 5th Century England, a group of Anglo-Saxon settlers began mixing together different dialects, creating what would eventually be known as the English language.

More than 1,400 years later, that once small form of communication has spread across the globe, and with more countries offering international programs to teach their citizens English, the language is showing no signs of slowing down.

APSU’s Full Spectrum Learning offers support to students with autism spectrum disorder

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – Allye Brown didn’t think she’d end up Clarksville. In 2016, the Nashville State Community College student was looking to earn her bachelor’s degree, and she found a university in another part of Tennessee with a program that assisted students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
