Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – On Friday morning, Austin Peay State University (APSU) unveiled its vision for a new Health Professions Building that will one day consolidate the University’s growing healthcare-related programs under one roof.

Those programs include the School of Nursing and the departments of allied health sciences, health and human performance, psychological science and counseling and social work.

William Grayford Nutt arrived at Austin Peay in 1937 as a 19-year-old athlete, and sometimes Horn imagines him waving at a pretty, young woman.

“Fail Forward” art exhibit now open at APSU

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – For years, visitors to Austin Peay State University’s Wilbur N. Daniel African-American Cultural Center have admired the art gallery set up in the front lobby. Particularly, they’ve commented on the colorful, abstract paintings by alumna Miesha Arnold.

The artist generously donated her work to the University, and this month, the Center is hosting an exhibition of her watercolors, titled “Fail Forward.”

African American Cultural Center at Austin Peay State University to hold Purses and Pleasantries fundraiser this month
