Clarksville, TN – Executive Directors, board members and volunteers from Precious Friends Puppy Rescue and the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County are joining forces to prepare a giant indoor Yard Sale at a building recently donated by Singletary Construction located at 20 Barker Street (off Riverside Drive).
Precious Friends Puppy Rescue Yard Sale to be held December 14th-16th.
First Annual Wags & Wings Family Fun Fest has huge turnout

Clarksville, TN – Wags & Wings Family Fun Fest combined pet-friendly activities with aviation exhibits for a one-of-a-kind festival experience that attracted more than 2,200 people to Clarksville Regional Airport, October 14th, 2017.
Presented by the Airport, the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County and title sponsor Fortera Credit Union, organizers called the multi-faceted first year event a high-flying success.

Handcrafted Holidays is a new Holiday tradition for Clarksville

Clarksville, TN – The Wilma Rudolph Event Center, located at Liberty Park, played host to “Handmade Holidays,” a Crafters Bazaar which featured holiday-themed handmade and handcrafted items. It featured more than 40 booths of crafts, art, jewelry, pottery, quilts, soaps, and more.
Matthew Nixon of the Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation said, “The idea for the Handmade Holidays event was the brainchild of the team behind the downtown market. Towards the end of the season. We knew that the market was going to be closing and we wanted to see if a craft show such as other entities have, would work here in Clarksville. So we scheduled it in the new Wilma Rudolph Event Center, and so far it’s been a huge success.”

Humane Society Donates Pet Supplies to Tornado-Stricken Shelter

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Humane Society donated 1,042 lbs. of dog food, 1 large crate, 4 bails of straw, 4 partial rolls of fencing and 2 large bags of linens to local disaster relief volunteers, Hannah and Haly Baggett, who will transport the items to Tuscaloosa K9 Camp this weekend.

Legends of Clarksvegas was a stunning success for the Humane Society

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Humane society rallied their supporters this weekend for two gala evenings of entertainment which raised nearly $20,000 to help support their vital mission in our community.
Dubbed Legends of Clarksvegas, the benefit concert featured Cheryl Crenshaw and Donita Crenshaw as the Judds, Kenny James as Buddy Holly, Steve Bobbitt as Rod Stewart, and Freddy Baggett as Elvis Presley. They were backed up by the EAS Showband.
